John A. Latawiec, President & CEO

John A. Latawiec became President and Chief Executive Officer of LifeStream, Inc. in April 1996. John oversees corporate programs, operations, and its $16 million budget. He is also responsible for the corporation's strategic business plan and its implementation.

Under his direction, LifeStream more than tripled its annual operating budget while maintaining its steadfast vision of providing participants with the resources and opportunities to develop individual potential. His purview encompasses more than 400LifeStream employees serving 500 people throughout Southeastern Massachusetts.

John has over 25 years of progressive experience in the human service field. He is a well-seasoned professional who is knowledgeable about mental retardation, employment and training of the disabled, and related community and residential programs. Affiliated with the organization since 1988, John served as LifeStream's Residential Director and Associate Director of Operations for 8 years prior to his appointment as President and CEO.

John holds a Ed. M. in Training and Organizational Development from Boston University and a bachelor's degree from The College of New Jersey. John resides on Cape Cod in Massachusetts.
