BUILDING
RELATIONSHIPS: EMPLOYEE TO EMPLOYER MATCHES - Focusing
on job readiness and training, the staff helps clients pinpoint their special
skills. This enables LifeStream to place participants in well-suited positions.
- We
give extensive attention to job placement by making sure our client has the right
background and talents to meet the requirements of each employer.
- Our
clients are people who are ready for challenging and meaningful employment.
TRAINING
- Our health care candidates
are CORI checked prior to admission into our program, receive extensive training,
and participate in state certification programs including CNA, CHHA, and First
Aid/CPR.
- We
provide job readiness training. Our staff helps individuals gain the personal
and professional skills needed to succeed on the job.
- Our
Career Choice clients fill entry-level and more skilled positions in sales, data
entry, manufacturing, product distribution, and hospitality.

OUR
SERVICES PROVIDE - Reduced
Cost
- When
an employer utilizes LifeStream to hire an employee, the company saves by eliminating
advertising costs and staff hours used in preliminary screening.
- We
prescreen, interview, and train each client, even before they walk through your
door!
- Once
clients begin working, we continue the relationship in offering support to the
clients as well as the employers.
- Financial
Incentives
- Our
Supported Work Program pays worker's compensation and liability insurance for
eight full weeks - at the end of which the employer has a fully trained and well-adjusted
employee.
- While
the company pays the hourly rate, we pay the employer's share of taxes.
- LifeStream
maintains this financial assistance for eight full weeks - at the end of which
the employer has a fully trained and well-adjusted employee.
- Most
candidates keep their existing state sponsored medical coverage.
- Most
of our clients meet the Work Opportunity and Welfare to Work eligibility criteria.
This results in tax credits ranging from $2,400 to $8,500 per year.
- Continued
Support
- LifeStream
candidates already have a support system in place when they begin a new position.
LifeStream helps secure state sponsored childcare and transportation for the participant,
eliminating many barriers to successful employment for the typical candidate.
- After
placement, we continue our involvement with free workplace counseling and assistance
as permitted by the employer.
- We
maintain this support until the client is fully capable of carrying on without
assistance.
