Personal Advocates
Job Description: Personal Advocates assist adults with developmental disabilities in all aspects of their daily lives. Positions involve working with individuals in one of 4 settings: at local community group homes, in facility-based day support programs, in area nursing home locations, and within individual's homes. Personal Advocates also help individuals out and about in the community. Applicants must be committed to providing opportunities for people to live substantive and personally fulfilling lives.

Requirements: High School Diploma or G.E.D. and one (1) year experience in the field of Mental Retardation is desirable. However, MR field may be waived if the candidate has relevant experience in a related field and demonstrated skills in required areas.

House Managers
Job Description: Residential House Managers supervise staff assisting individuals in all aspects of their daily lives. Positions involve managing personal advocates and assisting individuals to live successfully in the community. Applicants must be committed to providing opportunities for people to live substantive and personally fulfilling lives.

Desired Requirements: Bachelor's Degree or comparable combinations of course work training, and or experience and a minimum of at least three (3) years experience in the field of Mental Retardation. Demonstrated supervisory and team leadership skills a must. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.

CNAs
Job Description: CNAs assist adults in our residential facilities in Southeastern Massachusetts. Positions involve working with individuals with medical support needs at local residential homes and within the community. Applicants must be committed to providing opportunities for people to live substantive and personally fulfilling lives. CNAs support individuals in all aspects of their daily lives.

Requirements: Candidates must possess a current Mass CNA license and have previous experience working with the developmentally disabled population. LPNs Job Description: LPNs assist adults in our residential and day facilities in Southeastern Massachusetts. Positions involve working with individuals at local residential homes and within the community. Applicants must be committed to providing opportunities for people to live substantive and personally fulfilling lives.

LPNs
Job Description: LPNs are responsible for assessment of individuals served, medication administration, and adherence to DPH/DMR regulations in all aspects of care.

Requirements: Candidates must possess a current Mass LPN license and have previous experience working with the developmentally disabled population.

General requirements for all people applying to LifeStream:
Candidates must pass background check and have CORI clearance. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required. Applicants must pass an initial drug-screening test.
