Massachusetts Workforce Training Fund: Hiring Incentive Training (HIT) GrantProgram
Details- The
Hiring Incentive Training Grant Program is open to all employers. It provides
training grants of up to $2,000 per employee and up to $30,000 a year per company.
This program assists in paying training costs for newly hired employees who have
been unemployed over a year and those that do not have a call back date from their
last employer.

Inc. is a training provider for the Massachusetts Workforce Training Fund.
CriteriaThe
Massachusetts Workforce Training Fund reviews grant applications against specific
criteria. A few of the requirements for businesses include: - The
company must pay into the Workforce Training Fund
- New-hire
trainees must be Massachusetts residents
- Employee
must be a permanent hire (not seasonal)
- Employee
must be paid regular wages while in training
- All
training is job-related
- Training
will start within six months of grant award
- Training
will last no longer than 12 months
- All
trainees are employed in Massachusetts
