Paul
F. Correia, Senior Vice President, Employment and Training Division
Paul joined
LifeStream's management team in December of 1998 with the merger of Cognosco,
which he founded in 1987. Paul currently directs the corporation's job training
and placement programs for disadvantaged adults and oversees staff training for
Lifestream's direct service employees. He also functions as our Privacy Officer
and coordinates the management of the extensive records produced by all of our
programs.
The Division's
Supported Work program funded by the Massachusetts Department of Transitional
Assistance is the largest in the Commonwealth working with over two
hundred recipients per year in the transition from public assistance
to employment and self-sufficiency. Paul has held various positions
in Workforce Development over the past 28 years throughout Southeastern
Massachusetts and Rhode Island. He is certified as a Workforce Development
Professional and regularly advises local non- profit organizations.
Paul has a M.A
in Rehabilitation Counseling from Assumption College and a bachelor's
degree in Psychology from Providence College. He is a member of the
Greater New Bedford Workforce Board of Directors and on the Adjunct
Faculty of Bristol Community College in Human Services and Management.
